Seoul Pharmacy SOS

Seoul Pharmacy SOS
Your Premium Health & Medicine Concierge
🏥 Navigate Korean Pharmacies
Unlike many Western countries, you cannot simply buy medication off the shelf in South Korea. Pharmacies (Yakguk, 약국) require you to explain your symptoms directly to the pharmacist, who will then select the appropriate medicine from behind the counter.
This language barrier can be terrifying when you feel unwell. We designed this premium medical concierge to instantly translate your exact symptoms into precise Korean terminology. Simply select your condition and show the generated card directly to the pharmacist.
💡 Essential Pharmacy Tips
  • Look for the '약' Sign: Pharmacies in Korea are easily identifiable by a large sign displaying the word "약" (Yak).
  • Convenience Stores for Late Nights: Most pharmacies close by 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM. If it is an emergency, check our 'Convenience Store' category below to find basic painkillers at CU or GS25.
  • Show the Translation Card: Do not try to explain complex symptoms in English. The pharmacist will appreciate you showing our clear, accurate Korean cards.
